AOGC signs liquid gas supply contract with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development

Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) signed a contract of liquid gas supply with the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development on 09.12.2024.

According to the contract articles, Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation committed to deliver 30000 kg of liquid gas to the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development till the end of fiscal year 1403 from AOGC reservoirs under the specific conditions of the contract.

It is pertinent to mention that the contract is a part of the efforts of Afghanistan's state-owned Oil and Gas Corporation, which is to meet the needs of governmental departments and institutions, reduce the dependency of governmental departments and institutions on private sector contracts, and support state-owned companies. Meanwhile, this cooperation can lead to an increase in the revenues of governmental companies, and by strengthening the state-owned companies, they will create new job opportunities as well.
