Licensing Conditions for Building a Petroleum Station

  1. The land should be at least one acre big.
  2. The land should be non-agricultural, non-residential, non-green area, and the land should be outside the boundaries of flood control.
  3. If the land is private, then it needs to have the sharia deed with the approval of the municipality or related properties authority; and if it is government land, it should have a long-term contract.
  4. Distance from another pump should be at least 1km inside the city and 1.5 km outside the city.
  5. It should be at least one hundred meters away from the high voltage power lines.
  6. The storage distance from residential houses, and commercial and public properties is 50 meters.
  7. The distance of the foundations from the road is 15 meters.
  8. Mosque and ablution house, bathroom, vehicle service, car wash, and supermarket need to be located within the premises of the petrol pump, particularly for those petrol pumps which are located on the highways.
  9. At least 10% of the petrol-pump land must be allocated to the green area.
  10. All distribution bases should be placed under the umbrella of a courier in a modern way.
  11. The construction area of ​​the pump station must be included in the urban master plan and other detailed plans.
