Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation signs diesel and petrol supply contract with International Islamic University of Afghanistan

Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) signed a contract of diesel (31344 liters) and petrol (12690 liters) supply with Afghan International Islamic University on 22.08.2024. According to the contract articles, Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation committed to deliver two types of oil (Petrol and diesel) to Afghan International Islamic University for one year.

It is pertinent to mention that the contract is a part of the efforts of Afghanistan state-owned Oil and Gas Corporation, which is to meet the needs of governmental departments and institutions and reduce the dependency of governmental departments and institutions on private sector contracts and support state-owned companies. Meanwhile, this cooperation can lead to an increase in the revenues of governmental companies and by strengthening the state-owned companies, they will create new job opportunities as well.
