Hadith of the Day

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رضی الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّـهِ صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم قَالَ: «مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَال، وَمَا زَادَ اللَّـهُ عَبْداً بِعَفْوٍ إِلاَّ عِزّا، وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ للَّهِ إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللَّـهُ عَزَّ وجلَّ» (رواه مسلم).

Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Charity does not decrease wealth, and Allah does not increase a person in anything except honor because of forgiveness.

And no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises him in rank.”
