Hadith of the Day

عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَشَجِّ عَبْدِ القَيْسِ: " إِنَّ فِيكَ خَصْلَتَيْنِ يُحِبُّهُمَا اللَّهُ: الحِلْمُ، وَالأَنَاةُ ".

(سنن الترمذي) Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ashajj ‘Abdul-Qays: “You possess two qualities that Allah loves: forbearance and composure.”
