Kabul – Saturday, 20 Rabi’ al-Thani 1448 AH: Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation, affiliated with the General Directorate of State Corporations, has launched the process of distributing and transporting 4,000 LPG cylinders and the necessary equipment as part of its efforts to expand the retail LPG sales network and establish new sales centers.
As the first phase of this process, 300 LPG cylinders, 15 booths, and a number of required equipment items were transported to Ghor Province today.
Based on the allocated share and needs of each province, the necessary equipment for retail LPG sales centers—including cylinders, electronic weighing scales, filling machines, and containers—will also be transported to Nangarhar, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Khost, Ghazni, and Kunduz provinces.
In addition to Kabul, Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation currently operates 368 active retail LPG sales centers in the provinces of Parwan, Balkh, Badakhshan, Baghlan, and Kandahar.
Residents of these provinces may visit the relevant Oil & Gas offices, submit their applications, and, after completing the required legal procedures, establish retail LPG sales centers.
Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation is working to expand the retail LPG sales network in order to, on the one hand, create employment opportunities for citizens and, on the other hand, play a more effective role in regulating and controlling the prices of LPG in the market.
