Kabul – 12/5/1448 AH Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation, affiliated with the General Directorate of Corporations, has received authorization to identify new state-owned land in seven provinces to expand its operations, facilitate the storage and systematic distribution of petroleum products, and improve the provision of administrative services.
To expand its commercial activities and petroleum product distribution, the Corporation has faced a shortage of sufficient land in some provinces for establishing suitable facilities and constructing administrative buildings.
Accordingly, as part of its efforts to identify the required state-owned land, Decree No.
(2334/1267), dated 23/4/1448 AH, was received from the esteemed office of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate.
Under the decree, the relevant authority has been tasked with identifying suitable state-owned land, based on the Corporation’s needs, for the establishment of state-owned fuel stations, petroleum storage facilities, and administrative buildings in Kunar, Laghman, Nuristan, Khost, Helmand, Faryab, and Panjshir provinces.
Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation continues to work toward providing the necessary facilities to support its expanding operations and increase its petroleum storage and systematic distribution capacity, thereby creating the conditions needed to extend its services throughout the country.
