Jowzjan Central Pump Station Ready for Commissioning

As part of its ongoing infrastructure development initiatives, the Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) has completed preparations for the commissioning and full operation of the Jowzjan Central Pump Station .

The pump station represents a significant private sector investment, implemented at a cost of approximately AFN 40 million .

Under a concession agreement, the facility has been awarded to Fazl Oqab Farzad Limited Trading Company for a period of 14 years .

The primary objective of the project is to supply high-quality petroleum products to the domestic market, facilitate the fuel distribution process, and standardize service delivery.

The Corporation has also emphasized that environmental protection standards will be strictly observed throughout the operation of the facility.

The Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation remains committed to ensuring the reliable and standardized supply of petroleum products across the country while contributing to national economic growth and infrastructure development through the implementation of strategic projects.
