Price Reduction and Increased Accessibility; LPG Supplied at 55 AFN in Herat

Herat – 22/07/2026 Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation announces that, in order to support the residents of Herat Province, ensure the supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at a reasonable price, increase market supply, and provide greater convenience for citizens, the number of government LPG sales centers has been increased from 5 to 9 centers.

The Corporation says that, following this initiative, the price of LPG has also been reduced.

Currently, one kilogram of LPG is supplied to citizens through designated government sales centers in Herat at 55 AFN, compared with the previous price of 60 AFN per kilogram.

The Corporation adds that this initiative has been implemented to stabilize the market, control prices, improve public access to LPG, and protect consumers’ rights.

Residents of Herat Province can purchase their required LPG from the following government sales centers: 1.

Kamar Kalagh (Nemat Hekmat Company) 2.

Number One 3.

Khwaja Kala 4.

Darwaza-e Iraq 5.

Farqa 6.

Darwaza-e Kandahar 7.

Tank Markaz 8.

Spin Ade 9.

Darwaza-e Khushk The Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation emphasizes that the supply of LPG at reasonable prices will continue, and if required, sales centers will be expanded to other areas of Herat city.
