Project Worth AFN 40 Million Commissioned in Jawzjan Province A project worth AFN 40 million, comprising a commercial market and the Central Jawzjan Petrol Station, was commissioned in the presence of a delegation from the Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation under the General Directorate of Corporations, representatives of the Jawzjan provincial authorities, officials, tribal elders, and local residents.

The project had previously been announced by the Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation through an open investment tender.

The private company Fazl Aqaab Farzad Limited was declared the successful bidder.

The company invested AFN 40 million and completed the project in accordance with the established standards, preparing it for operation.

The project includes the Central Jawzjan Petrol Station, equipped with a car wash, mosque, ablution facility, and supermarket, as well as a commercial market.

During the commissioning ceremony, officials highlighted the importance of investment, infrastructure development, and the establishment of service and economic facilities across the country.

Saifuddin Moatasem, Head of Information and Culture of Jawzjan Province, described the commissioning of the project as an important step toward providing better services to the public and called on Afghan traders to invest inside the country.

Mufti Mohammad Naeem Noman, Deputy Director of Property Registration and Licenses of the Corporation, said: “In the wake of full security, the conditions have been created for the implementation of reconstruction and development projects across the country.” He added that the Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation continues to develop petroleum infrastructure, promote branding, and establish standardized facilities across the country.

Local residents welcomed the commissioning of the project and called for the continuation of similar economic and infrastructure projects in the province.
