Rehabilitation and Renovation Work Continues on the Kilagi LPG Storage Facility in Baghlan Province

The rehabilitation and renovation project of the Kilagi Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Storage Facility in Baghlan Province, valued at AFN 4.8 million , is currently underway.

Construction activities are progressing steadily and in accordance with the project schedule.

With a storage capacity of approximately 300 metric tons , the facility is one of the key LPG storage and distribution centers in northeastern Afghanistan.

It plays a vital role in maintaining market stability and ensuring a reliable supply of energy.

Upon completion, the facility is expected to enhance the timely supply of liquefied petroleum gas to Baghlan Province and neighboring provinces.

According to project updates, 58 percent of the rehabilitation work has been completed, and the project is expected to be finalized within the next one and a half months .

The Afghanistan Oil and Gas Corporation (AOGC) remains committed to implementing similar infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening and expanding the country's oil and gas sector.
