A Project Worth AFN 40 Million Commissioned in Jawzjan Province

In the presence of a delegation from the Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation, affiliated with the General Directorate of State Corporations, representatives of the Jawzjan provincial authorities, officials, tribal elders, and local residents, a project worth AFN 40 million, comprising the Jawzjan Central Fuel Station and a commercial market, was officially commissioned.

The project had previously been announced by the Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation for open investment through a competitive bidding process, with Fazl Aqab Farzad Limited, a private company, declared the successful bidder.

The company has completed and prepared the project for operation with an investment of AFN 40 million, in accordance with the prescribed standards.

The project includes the Jawzjan Central Fuel Station, equipped with a car wash, mosque, ablution facility, and supermarket, as well as a commercial market.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, officials emphasized the importance of investment, infrastructure development, and the establishment of service and economic facilities across the country.

Saifuddin Mo'tasim, Director of Information and Culture of Jawzjan Province, described the commissioning of the project as an important step toward providing better services to the people and called on the country's business community to invest domestically.

Mufti Mohammad Naeem No'man, Deputy Director of Property Registration and Company Licensing, said, “Under conditions of full security, the ground has been paved for the implementation of reconstruction and development projects across the country.” He added that the Afghanistan Oil & Gas Corporation is continuing its efforts to develop petroleum infrastructure, promote branding, and establish standardized facilities across the country.

Local residents also welcomed the commissioning of the project and called for the continuation of similar economic and infrastructure projects in the province.
