The department operations cover Kabul city and several provinces including the 6 borders. This department also provides technical and professional services of quality assurance for government departments and the private sector. It ensures the quality of imported and exported materials and domestic production of the country through consulting. It ensures the quality of the purchased materials at the time of storage, supply and distribution. The department supervises the oil and gas liquids received from domestic and foreign sources. The quality of purchased materials is ensured before they are unloaded into the reserves, and the quality confirmation documents are provided to the management of the reservoirs. When domestic or foreign imported materials are stored in AOGC reservoirs, sampling is done by professional engineers using standard methods. After testing the quality of the materials, the sales license is given to the commercial directorate. When the material is placed in the supply state, the quality control department provides the applicant with the quality analysis of the arranged material when requested by government administration or private sector customers.
